Abstract

Spiral bound note book can be secured in large loose leaf files by a special adaptor. The adaptor consists of a strip of plastic sheet (1) which possesses a fair degree of resilience. One edge of the strip has two tongues (2, 3) each with two holes (4-7). The holes are connected to the edge (9) of the tongue by slots. The spacing of the holes matches the pitch of the spirals of the binding of a note book so that the strip can be pushed onto the spirals and the note book placed in a larger file. The note book is secured by the holes which match the retaining pins of a wide range of standard files.
