Abstract

The central burner (9) is mounted on a circular plate (18) which has vertical cylindrical sides. The air intake to the burner (8) is located above the gas inlet (4). A partition plate separates the two areas (2) and (3) above the base plate (18). A cover plate (16) fits around the burner, with a central inlet hole (13). The combustion air trapped under the pan (12) passes out through the annular passage (15) heating up the air as it arrives through the passage (6).
