Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de chloration de polyéthylène haute densité. L'invention concerne un procédé de chloration d'un polymère d'éthylène dans lequel sont copolymérisées tout au plus 5 moles % d'autres oléfines, en particulier du propylène et/ou du butène, ayant une densité de 0,930-0,970, un indice de fusion de au plus 5 une répartition de la grosseur des particules allant de 50 à 2000 mu ou entre ces deux valeurs, une porosité de au plus 0,15 cm**3/g, une surface BET de au plus 1m**2/g et une teneur en cire de au plus 1% en poids est effectué dans la masse. Le polymère obtenu peut être utilisé comme matière améliorant la résistance aux chocs du PVC.
