Abstract
Procédé de fabrication d'un alliage de ferrotungstène avec utilisation directe d'un minerai concentré de tungstène et de carbone comme agent de réduction, ce qui permet d'obtenir un alliage sans ségrégation, sous forme de pastilles. Un mélange uniforme est formé qui est constitué d'un minerai de tungstène en fines particules tel que de la wolframite, de la scheelite, de la ferbérite et/ou de l'hubnérite; une quantité supplémentaire d'un matériau contenant du fer en particules et une quantité contrôlée d'un agent de réduction carboné sont ajoutées; les pastilles agglomérees sont chauffées à haute température sous un vide contrôlé pendant une durée de temps suffisante pour effectuer une réduction du composant en oxyde tungstique à l'état métallique et la volatilisation et l'extraction des composants volatils et l'alliage du tungstène métallique avec les composants en fer, ce qui permet d'obtenir des pastilles d'alliage de ferrotungstène frittées sensiblement denses.
