Abstract

Connecteur pour conducteur optique, du type monobrin ou multibrins. Chacun des corps 1, 1', constituant le boîtier de ce connecteur, reçoit un canon 2, 2', retenu par une embase 3, 3', et portant un fût 4, 4'. Chaque canon reçoit l'extrémité d'un conducteur optique 7, immobilisée dans l'alésage central 6, ménagé à l'extremité du fût 4, et, au moins deux joints toriques 10 disposés chacun dans une gorge annulaire ménagée dans le fût 4 et de fond concentrique à l'alésage 6. Le connecteur comprend, de plus, un manchon 11, dans lequel les fûts 4, 4', pénètrent en regard l'un de l'autre, de sorte que les joints toriques 10, en se comprimant, assurent l'auto-centrage dans le manchon 11 des canons 2, 2', appliqués l'un contre l'autre par action de moyens complémentaires de fixation et de serrage. L'invention peut être utilisée pour la connexion de conducteurs optiques de tous types.
