Abstract

Raccord pour éléments d'une colonne montante marine. Il comprend une pièce femelle et une pièce mâle qui sont alignées coaxialement et qui sont maintenues comprimees l'une contre l'autre par un écrou subissant une traction. Le raccord qui est destiné à réunir des éléments de tuyau d'une colonne montante est précontraint par un outil d'une manière telle que lorsqu'une charge égale à la limite d'élasticité du matériau des tuyaux est exercée sur les éléments de tuyau réunis par le raccord, les faces comprimées des pièces mâle et femelle ne puissent pas se séparer. Application à un raccord destiné à relier les éléments de tuyau d'une colonne montante marine utilisée par exemple pour joindre une tête de puits située au fond de l'océan à un appareil de forage flottant à la surface.
