Abstract

The kite has a plastic folding frame comprising a tee-section upright (1) with a block (4) sliding along its length. This slider is in one piece with the horizontal stretchers (2, 3) plastic hinges (9) forming the joints. In the extended position, the slider is fixed between two stops. The plastic film covering is attached by clips, fixed to the film opposite buckles (12, 13) on the arms. The clips are passed through the buckles and folded back, a hole engaging over an integral peg (14). The line and harness for flying the kite is retained by an adjustable arm locating in the stop (7) on the upright.
