Abstract

The joining system is for two elements of same or different material, to flat surfaces. It is applicable to the building and furniture industries, and also to vehicle and ship building. One components, for setting in or on a flat surface is in the form of a hood-shaped cylindrical housing (1a) with truncated conical inside walling and an opening at the narrow end. There is a leaf spring (2), curved pref. towards the opening, and a compressible closing inset (3) with resilient arms ending in a bulge. A second component for setting in or one a flat surface, comprises a housing and shaft-shaped ball thrust (5) with ball (8) and annular groove (7). Force-locking connection is readily achieved by pressing the two closing components together, and release is also easily achieved by pressing.
