Abstract

The jet nozzle is particularly for mixing two currents together, having coaxial inlet and outlet tubes mounted respectively in a sleeve (4) and a pipe (7). The sleeve is adjustable on the pipe, forming a seal between them. A chamber (9) formed between sleeve and inlet tube (2) has an inlet drilling passing radially through the sleeve and opening into a passage formed between coaxial conical surface (10,11) on inlet and outlet tubes. The distance between these surfaces is adjusted by screwing the sleeve on and off the pipe. The conical surface on the pipe can converge to a cylindrical drilling of smaller diameter than the inlet tube.
