Abstract

L'invention concerne un frein à disque du type à étrier flottant. Selon l'invention, un manchon 52 est monté entre une extrémité d'un ressort de compression 19 et un élément 12 transformant en déplacement linéaire le mouvement de rotation d'un levier de commande 14 au moyen d'un écrou denté 27 logé à l'intérieur du manchon 52, afin de réduire la charge axiale agissant sur l'écrou. L'invention s'applique notamment aux freins à disque pour véhicules automobiles.
