Abstract

Topical compsns. contain identical proportions of cresols, mineral oils and ether. A pref. compsn. contains 20-35% "Cresyl" (RTM), 25-35% mineral oil, 30-40% ether and 1-4% cade oil. Used for application to domestic animals, esp. dogs, for stimulating hair growth, also soothes insect bites, itching, burns or bites, disinfects and promotes healing.
