Abstract

Cette étiquette 1 comporte une pellicule 2, en matière plastique, sur la face interne de laquelle sont imprimés des signes 4 porteurs d'information, par exemple un numéro de série. Cette face interne est revêtue d'une couche d'adhésif 5, éventuellement recouverte elle-même par une feuille détachable 7 constituant le protecteur et le support initial de l'étiquette. L'encre des signes 4 et la matière de couche adhésive 5 sont choisies de manière que l'encre possède une plus grande affinité vis-à-vis de l'adhésif 5 que vis-à-vis de la pellicule 2 et que l'adhésif possède une plus grande affinité vis-à-vis de l'objet à étiqueter que vis-à-vis de la pellicule 2. Si l'on tente d'enlever l'étiquette, au moins une partie importante de l'épaisseur de l'encre 4 reste fixé à l'adhesif 5 qui reste lui-même fortement fixé à l'objet De ce fait, l'impression portée par la pellicule 2, est soit disparue, soit suffisamment affaiblie pour signaler l'arrachage.
