Abstract

The equipment separates packages from their contents, the packages being delivered by a feed mechanism (1) to a disintegration sugar (4). The latter charges to a rotary drum-type filter (8) tuning indepently of the auger. The auger and its casing (19) taper towards the drum and are in line with its centre. The auger extends coaxially inside the drum and is enclosed by a collar (22) on it. The auger can discharge into a concave portion of the drum (21), in which actuators are mounted propelling the packages into the filter portion.
