Abstract

The shelving system consists of threaded rods (3) which are rigid and which have screwed onto them, tubes (5) of preferably round or square cross-section. Washers (6) are inserted between the tubes (5) and the rods (3). The threaded rods (3) are inserted into vertical sleeves welded onto rigig chasses. Rollers (9) are mounted by means of screws and nuts to the underneath ends of the threaded rods (3) fitting through the chassis (1). Plates or slide pieces are threaded onto the threaded rods (3) and locked in placed by means of washers or nuts and by means of a nut at the top. Instead of plates or slide pieces, any shape tube may be used. The last plate is screwed in place by preferably cap nuts (8). Each nut (8) may be hexagonal and fit both inside and outside simultaneously the square or round tube.
