Abstract

The doll has a simulated drinking motion when the teat of a feeding bottle is inserted into its mouth. A battery operated motor drives a crank disc, a lever oscillating and operating the doll's flexible lips. The teat expands the feeding tube and closes a contact operating the motor. The liq. passes down the tube to enter a lower reservoir. When the doll is placed in the reclining position, the liq. leaves the reservoir and is evacuated at the base of the doll. A crying unit can be fitted, operated by a contact sensitive to humidity in the doll's clothing.
