Abstract

Le procédé selon l'invention consiste à brûler l'effluent arrivant par une canalisation 5 dans une flamme produite par un combustible auxiliaire arrivant par un conduit 3 et de l'air de combustion arrivant par une canalisation 6, cet air de combustion étant envoyé pour provoquer un mouvement de rotation et la flamme étant suffisamment chaude pour la décomposition requise de l'effluent, les vitesses d'écoulement étant maintenues à une valeur empêchant le retour de flamme. Un tel procédé convient en particulier pour épurer les effluents contenant des substances organiques et provenant d'équipements industriels.
