Abstract
Réacteur de pyrolyse par lequel des déchets déchiquetés traversent continuellement une cornue 10 rotative, chauffée indirectement et formant une chambre de pyrolyse B dans un ensemble de cornue R dans laquelle les déchets sont transformés en matière carbonée, gaz pyrogéné combustible et liquides organiques. La matière carbonée est évacuée à un lit s'étendant verticalement à travers lequel de la vapeur et de l'air sont amenés simultanément pour produire un gaz combustible lequel est utilisé pour le brûleur chauffant l'ensemble cornue R L'alimentation en combustible au dispositif de brûleur peut être accrue en dérivant une partie du gaz pyrogéné lequel peut être éloigné du réacteur en vue du stockage. Les gaz de fumée provenant de l'ensemble de cornue R peuvent être envoyés vers un échangeur de chaleur pour transformer de l'eau de vapeur, cette vapeur pouvant être utilisée pour l'alimentation de vapeur traversant le lit de matière carbonée et pour des usages de production d'énergie.
