Abstract

Releasable quick coupling for connecting two shafts, esp. for connecting a linkage shaft to a tractor take-off shaft where coupling parts are in the form of externally toothed coupling hubs or internally toothed coupling sheaths. These are connected by a ball snap clasp secured by a spring-loaded closing ring. A coupling dish is fixed to the tractor and coaxially encloses the hub and sheath in the coupled state. A disengagement lever (12) on the coupling dish (8) is pivot supported in a fixed bearing (13). An operating lever (24) is hinged to the fixed bearing at a distance. On swivelling the operating lever (24) this is supported in a first movement phase on a first stop (28). A clasp ring (16) which holds the balls in the lock position can be pushed out of the locked position by swivelling lever (12) about its fixed bearing (13). On further swivelling of the operating lever (24) the unlocked coupling sheath is pressed away from the coupling hub (6).
