Abstract

The lock, esp. for bracelets comprises a housing (10) and a hooped bar (11) which is swivel mounted on the housing which is designed as a flat body and together with the bar acts like a padlock. A spring-loaded bolt (17) is swivel mounted in the housing (10) and at one end has a bar (16) which in the closed position engages in the hooped bar (11). The bar (16) is provided with an actuating member (19) which projects out of the edge of the housing and serves to swivel the bolt (17). The spring (21) which biasses the bolt (17) is pref. in the form of a leaf spring wherein one end adjoins the bolt so that it holds it in the closed position whilst the other end acts on the hooped bar so that the latter is pressed into the opened position.
