Abstract

Procédé de traitement d'un papier ou carton à base de fibres, principalement cellulosiques, coin en ce qu'il consiste: - dans un premier temps, à traiter ledit papier par un composé chimique polyfonctionnel renfermant au moins deux groupements à hydrogènes mobiles actifs vis-à-vis d'un groupement isocyanate, mais non actif vis-à-vis de la cellulose; - puis, dans un deuxième temps, à traiter ce même papier par un composé chimique polyfonctionnel renfermant des groupements isocyanates réactifs; - et enfin, provoquer de manière connue, la polymérisation par réaction des groupements hydrogènes actifs sur les groupements isocyanates. L'invention concerne également les papiers et cartons ainsi traités.
