Abstract
Procédé de préparation de granulés d'alumine active. On part de poudre d'alumine active non broyée obtenue par chauffage rapide d'alumine trihydratée, éventuellement accompagnée d'alumine trihydratée non broyée, qu'on met à l'état de plaques, sans adjonction d'eau, par passage entre des cylindres sous des pressions d'au moins 1 t/cm de largeur des cylindres, on humidifie les plaques après concassage éventuel par la quantité d'eau nécessaire pour la formation de l'hydrate, on conserve à l'état humide pendant au moins 5 h à une température de 50 à 100 degrés C et on active finalement dans un courant de gaz sec à une température de 300 à 450 degrés C.
