Abstract

The metal sheet stacking machine consists of two retractable supports disposed symmetrically above a pallet (M) on which the sheets (T) are to be stacked. Each support consists of a continuous band (2) connected between two rollers (3, 4) attached, one at each end of a mobile arm (5). The top surface (6) of the supports is fed with a sheet from a conveyor (c). The mobile arm is retracted or extended by a double acting hydraulic or pneumatic jack (7). One portion of the band is fixed (8) to the casing of the jack which ensures that there is no slip of the band relative to the plate, thus avoiding scratching.
