Abstract

A combined pasteurising and mixing machine, for foodstuffs, comprises an upper pasteurising drum and a lower stirring and mixing drum; these are interconnected by a line with hand-operated valve. The upper, pasteurising drum is surrounded by a dry resistance heater, embedded in a thermally insulating material. Two-drum mixing machine is improved of IT Specification 996102. Intended in partic. for the prodn. of ice cream and ice prods. Arrangement avoids the use of liq. heaters, (oil circuits) and thus considerably simplifies the sealing problems.
