Abstract

The shower attachment may rest on a support located above the pipe (10). The valve is connected to the outlet (12) of the feed water tap (13) which may itself be a mixing or pressure reducing tap. The vent valve (18) is introduced between the support and the tap. One end (20) of the valve is connected to the tap (13) and the outlet (23) is at the top of the valve at the opposite end of a control chamber (28) which contains a moveable valve (29) which closes onto the seat (30) at one end and (32) at the other. The valve is allowed to float between the two pressures.
