Abstract

The packing is particularly for mass-produced confectionery, and comprises a rectangular plate with four inverted-V-section edges at right angles to the base. The lower edges of the outer arms of the V-sections are joined by folds to the base, while the inner ones are slightly shorter and have some elasticity. A transparent rectangular plastic cover has a horizontal lower flange extending outwards and snapping into engagement under the inner arms of the V-sections when pressed home, so that it cannot be detached accidentally. The cover can have slightly sloping sides, forming a truncated pyramid.
