Abstract

The system activates and revitalises cutaneous and subcutaneous tissue by localised electrical fields. Some of the supports are connected to the electrode of one polarity supplied from an electric generator, and others to that of opposite polarity. The current and/or the voltage supplied to the supports by the generator can be varied over a period, typically by transmitting impulses to them, of direct or alternating current, or modulated in any suitable manner. The fields can be applied by a vest or belt fitting closely against the body, and incorporating a network of metal parts connected to one or the other of the electrodes.
