Abstract

The unloading mechanism has a fixed arm, extending from a support and designed to accept a bundle of several rolls. A second mobile arm is designed to slide axially on the inside of the first arm from fully retracted to fully extended positions. A pusher can move a sufficient distance to push the end roll from the fixed arm to the moveable arm. The moveable arm and the fixed arm have open ends along the upper side of the cylinder. Scrapers are fitted to the outside of the fixed arm to push the rolls off the assembly.
