Abstract

The blind comprises an opaque cloth (2) which can cover the door or window completely and is fixed to the top tranverse, and a framework which is fixed to the stationary part of the door or window. The long edges of the cloth are provided with balls (6) which are free to slide in a groove (10) in a guide rail (7). The guide rail consists partly of a curved plate (9) forming the groove and partly of f flat plate (8) secured to the framework (4). The blind can be locked open at any desired position, the blind handle, which is a tubular bar (12) fixed near the lowest edge of the blind, being provided with hooks (15) held elastically by a spring (17). A sliding cylinder (21) and plate (19) are also attached to each edge of the blind at this level.
