Abstract

The roof frame consists of a fixed window casing with a mobile glazed part (2) and an operating rack-bar (3). The rack bar has a number of cavities (12) along its length which operate in conjunction with a stop catch (8) fixed onto the window casing. The top of the rack-bar (3) has an oblong hole (10) for an axle (9) to go through. The axle forms part of the opening part of the fanlight. The axle is locked in position by a stop piece on the casing, formed by a bend in the side of the casing. The axle is held by a support in the form of an angle piece joined to a cross piece (4) fixed to the opening part of the fanlight.
