Abstract

The electrically ignited and automatically charged explosive detonator is used esp. for releasing ski safety bindings. The arrangement has mechanical components moved by the explosion gases. The movement releases a locking mechanism. The initiating device is of relatively simple design and it is readily operated by the user. The arrangement has a magazine (17) for accommodating several explosive charges (22) for actuating the moving parts (16). It has also positioning devices (31) for automatic positioning of the explosive charges relative to the moving parts and relative to the igniting device (42).
