Abstract

The products contain organic or inorganic pigments which are soluble or dispersible in suitable solvents, in combination with a medium which, besides a crosslinking agent dissolved in organic solvents, includes a crosslinkable reactive nitrocellulose bearing hydroxyl groups, at least one reactive coupling resin and at least one inert filling resin. They may additionally contain a surface-active agent and/or an agent for reducing bubble formation and/or a plasticiser and/or a flatting agent and/or a crosslinking catalyst. To coat a surface, it is covered either with the product or separately with a solution of the crosslinking agent and a solution of pigments and cellulose in any order.
