Abstract

The ski boot is of the type made of synthetic moulded material having separate upper (2) and lower parts (1) joined by an articulated joint (3) and two brackets (4, 5) fixed to the back of the boot to limit adjustably the movement of the two parts. The upper bracket (5) has a smooth hole through which a threaded rod pas passes. A milled nut (12) is screwed onto the rod between the two brackets to support the upper bracket. A milled and threaded cap (13) is screwed to the upper extremity of the rod to compress a spring (14) between the upper bracket and the cap.
