Abstract

The release binding for a ski can be adjusted to the length of the user's boot by means of an adjustable stop (1). This has shoulders (3, 4) provided with bosses (32, 42) which are normally held in engagement with cutouts in slideways by a cam (81). The slideways form parts of a slide plate (5) fixed to the ski. Several cutouts in each top surface give a selection of positions. The cam has a barrel rotated by a screwdriver turning its nose through 90.deg.F to release the stop downwards. After readjustment, the cam is returned to its original position. A rubber block forms a spring cushion.
