Abstract

A water circulation system for a long central heating radiator (3) with the supply pipe (2) connected to a top entry point, are the return pipe (8) connected to an outlet at the bottom of the same end, has a collector tube (6) inside the bottom with its end remote from the plug (5) at the outlet, open, and with holes along it. Thus water entering at the top and falling vertically inside the radiator cannot leave immediately, but must circulate further, so as to enter the open end or pass through the holes. The holes are differentially spaced to ensure an even exchange of heat over the length of the radiator. The perforated tube (6) may be screwed into the plug (5) or welded to it.
