Abstract

The hair-curler is formed by a flexible polygonal band which is rolled-up into a variable diameter cylinder. It has got holes all over its surface which, when the band is rolled, face each other thus enabling a fixation pin to pass through, the holes and lock the rolled band at the required diameter because of its variable sizes it can be used both for permanent waves, when small diameter curlers are required, and hair setting. The band may be plastic and the central holes is preferably smaller than those extending along the edges of the band.
