Abstract

In the prodn. of mouldings from linear polyesters (I) contg. dispersed additives (II) by melt forming a (II)/(I) concentrate (III), opt. treated with (I) and contg. little or no (II) in the form of powder, granules, pellets (flakes, chips) or melt, (III) is prepd. by mixing (II) with (I), which is in the form of powder with effective density is not >0.3 g/ml. (III) is esp. suitable for the prodn. of fibres, filaments, films, sheet and other extruded prods. The (I) powder adsorbs pigments and other additives strongly, so that very uniform dispersion is possible.
