Abstract

Thermoformable plastic sheet (21) is passed over a die. The outer ring (22) descends, holding the sheet, and the lower die (29) rises to form the base (11). The cardboard body (10), treated for impermeability is inserted into the outer ring. This body, of hexagonal shape and having a coating of adhesive on the inside face of its end, is pressed into the base to form a joint. This is heat sealed to prevent leaks. The base is severed from the sheet and the assembly passed for filling. After this, aluminium foil is similarly sealed to an adhesive band (15) outside the body, forming a capping.
