Abstract

The system allows height adjustment of the equipment such as might be necessary to align electrical cables precisely with access holes in the equipment. Two identical supports (4) are fixed to the wall at the same height but spaced laterally. Each carries two parallel projections (6) at its upper end with clearance holes drilled for a screw (7), and each has a projection (5) at its lower end. Inverted J shaped hooks (2, 3) are fixed to the box (1), the lower ones (3) hooking on to the projections (5) and the upper ones (2) on to a U shaped bracket (8, 9) with a tapped hole to fit the screw (7). As the screw is turned, the bracket moves within the limits defined by the projections (6) and locks the system.
