Abstract

The packing consists of a transparent plastic container (2) which may be rectangular or circular and fitted with a rim (3). The object being packed is placed inside the container with any necessary packing to prevent movement and subsequent damage. The container is sealed by means of a sheet of material (1) supplied with adhesive on one side and the container is closed. This closing sheet (1) extends beyond the container so that a strip of paper may be stuck onto the extended sheet at (4). This strip (5) is used for identification, and for ease of opening the package. The packing may be used for record player cartridges.
