Abstract

The flame is regulated by varying the pressure on an expansion filter pad which connects the gas reservoir with the gas valve. The inlet to the filter is on the periphery of the filter and the outlet is in the centre. The pressure on the filter and hence the flame size may be reduced by screwing down an outer sleeve. This may be achieved by turning the sleeve by means of a special tool available only to the manufacturer. The flow of gas may be further reduced by turning an inner sleeve at a flange. This operation may be carried out by the user.
