Abstract

A rail for the suspension of kitchen cupboards on a wall; with a simple adjusting method for horizontal and vertical alignment, has an assymetric 'V' section, with legs angled at 30 deg. to 50 deg. and the long leg (1), e.g. three times the length, of the other (2) fixed to the wall. This long leg also has regularly spaced apertures (3) for wall fixings. The legs can angle at 45 deg. The leg apertures (3) are rectangular. It is attached to the wall by a screw through an eccentrically drilled (5) flanged disc (6) which locates in the flange slot (3). Rotation and/or sliding this disc gives horizontal adjustment of the rail. A diagonally slotted square plate can be used instead of the disc (6). The cupboards have inclined mortices receiving the smaller 'V' leg, and vertical adjustment is via screws bearing on the wall.
