Abstract

The first tube (2), made of an elastic material, has at the junction a cylindrical boss (1) with on its outer surface two rectangular ridges (3 & 4) and on its inside a screwed thread. This boss is passed through an orifice in the thin partition until the partition locates between the two ridges. The second tube, with a male thread on it extremity slightly larger than the female thread in the boss, is screwed into the first, the interference in threads expanding the first tube and locking it tightly in the partition orifice.
