Abstract
Light-weight, cellular concrete for profabricated loaded constructions reinforced with steel is produced from high-strength cement (300-800 kg per m3 of concrete), opt. with 0-0.6 mm. particles of an inert filler (0-1000 kg. per m3 of concrete), mixed with 36-68% (w.r.t. the cement) of water contg. (in wt. % w.r.t. the water) sodium alkylbenzene sulphonate (foaming agent) 1-45, Ca(NO2)2 0-70, CaCl2 2-35, triethanolamine 0-90, Na2SO4 0-10, and Na2SiO3.SH2O 0-60. The pore size is 0.1-4mm. High compressive strength (40-250 kg/cm2); relatively low density (800-1600 kg/cm3); low brittleness; dense surfaces. The setting and hardening is rapid (the strength after 15 hrs. amount to 35-45% of the strength after 28 days; there is no need to steam or otherwise heat the product); there is no tendency towards sedimentation (application of vibrations is unnecessary).
