Abstract

Made in two types, the first being a U shaped casting (1). A flat rib (6) is in the bottom (3) and part way up the sides, these being extended (7, 8) with a hole (9, 10) in each. The tube (4) has annular grooves in its surface which fit over the rib (6) for location. A pin (11) is driven through the holes in the sides to hold the tube securely in place. Flanges (12, 13, 14, 15) each side connect other components (21) in a similar manner, by a pin (20) through holes (16, 17, 22). A variant uses two half shells pivoting at one end and closed by a nut and bolt in the opposite end.
