Abstract

A pot is moulded by heating a continuous plastic sheet and deviating a portion of it into a mould having a base wall and a pref. frusto-conical side wall. Pref. a nozzle is used to blow-mould the sheet within the mould and a part of the side wall is removable to form an opening through which the moulded pot can be removed from the mould. Pots having convergent or divergent side walls can be simply removed from the mould after moulding. The arrangement allows continuous moulding of inter-connected pots to be achieved.
