Abstract

Making fuel cell electrodes of the type having a porous conductive catalytically active layer contg. a hydrophobicising agent which is soluble, by mixing the active powder with a soln. of the hydrophobicising agent, adding a pptg. agent to deposit the hydrophobicising agent on the particles, filtering, drying, grinding the particles, then moulding, compressing and heating them. Simple method for controlling at size of the hydrophobicising agent particles.
