Hair conditioner which does not affect the scalp or inhibit the growing hair comprises 63.2% of a basic compsn. contg. 21-24% alginic acid, 15.2% fucoidin, 3.4% mannitol, 0.12-0.52% laminarin, 7.5% protein, 0.35% vegetable fats, and 7.5% of fibrous cellulose matter; and 36.8% of inorg. cpds. contg. K 10.5-12.9%, Na 3.8-4.6%, Ca 1-1.2%, Mg 0.7-0.86%, Fe 0.35-0.43%, Cu 0.007-0.0009, Mn 0.00013-0.00017%, P 0.32-0.38%, S 0.9-1.1%, Cl 12.0-14.8% and I 0.45-0.55%, 50 g. of such a compsn. also contains 60,000 units of vitamin A, 120,000 units of vitamin D, 4 mg of vitamin F99 and 20g of 96% ethanol.
