Abstract

Title fabric includes a base knit formed of very fine denier yarn (pref. acrylic) and a coarser yarn introduced into the base unit in pref. a uniform pattern. Pref. the base knit yarn is elasticated whereby it contracts, after knitting to produce a tight knit, smooth base knit, and pref. the interior face of the fabric is brushed to increase its heat insulation props. The fabric is used e.g. for laides dressing gowns.
