Abstract

A brassiere is provied around its upper edge with a pref. elasticated tape having a number of spaced apertures, and at least one end of each shoulder strap has a hook which can be engaged in a selected aperture to adjust the posn of the strap for comfort. Pref. the tape is double walled and the apertures are provided in one wall only. The hook may have a portion perpendicular to the strap and two portions parallel into the strap, and the sepn of the two portions parallel with strap pref. corresponds to the sepn of the apertures.
