Abstract

The portable enclosures are built as two shells with the smaller able to pivot between one position in line with the base and another position normal to the axis of the base to increase the floor area of the unit when so deployed. PRef. each platform is fitted with end walls and a roof but common side walls can pivot depending on the mode in use. PRef. the walls are made of synthetic materials incorporating at least one layer of glass fibre, polyester resin and of a synthetic foam such as polyurethane. Pref. the walls, ceiling, and floor are bonded together by polymn. For mobile building to be carried on a road chassis or by railcar.
